Certificates, eCredits or Gift Cards

Enter the thirteen (13) digit (006) number on your eCredit, Gift Card, or unused/partially used eTicket. If applicable, your redemption code will also be found on this document.

If you are redeeming a SkyMiles Companion Certificate, you will enter the eight (8) alphanumeric characters.

eCredits, Certificates, and Gift Cards can only be applied to the cost of your airfare (including applicable taxes and fees) and may not be used to purchase non-flight products and services.

SkyMiles Companion Certificates

SkyMiles Companion Certificates are exclusive, money-saving certificates good for one eligible round-trip flight—just for renewing your Delta SkyMiles Credit Card from American Express. Learn more about SkyMiles Companion Certificates.

Enter the 8-character Certificate code from the letter or email you received.

Other Certificates

Enter the 13-digit number starting with 006 or 012. 

Delta eCertificates can be redeemed for a variety of money-saving offers on eligible flights, including:

• A specific dollar amount off the cost of an eligible fare.
• A specific percentage off the cost of an eligible fare.
• A travel certificate that covers the cost of a ticket and requires the customer to only pay applicable taxes and fees.
• A complimentary upgrade.

eCredits are electronic documents that you can apply toward the cost of a Delta ticket and any government-imposed taxes and fees for up to one year from the date they were issued.

• eCredits cannot be used for any other types of fees, and they have no cash value.
• When you redeem eCredits at delta.com, there is no transaction fee.
• You can also redeem them at any airport or city ticket office, but additional fees may apply.
• eCredits cannot be redeemed at travel agencies, other airlines or other travel web sites. 

Gift Cards

• You can redeem up to 3 Gift Cards in one transaction.
• When you redeem a Gift Card, its value is applied to all passengers traveling on your itinerary until its remaining balance equals zero or all tickets have been covered.
• If there is still a balance after the purchase of your Delta ticket, a new Gift Card in the sum of the balance amount will be issued.
• Gift Cards do not expire.
• Previously purchased Northwest Certificates can be redeemed with Delta Air Lines.
